12 week ultrascreen

Finally have the ultrascreen pictures uploaded...I've had this posting saved as a draft for over 2 months! : )

We had our 12 week ultrasound screening today (1/28/2010)! Baby 2 was so adorable...it was very active, the lady said it was acting like it was on a slip and slide! : ) She said you've got a wild one here...we told her that we already had one at home! : ) Everything went great and we should get the results from the bloodwork back soon. Baby 2 was 5.15 cm, measured at 11 weeks, 6 days, and heartbeat was 169 beats/min (still haven't heard it yet). Baby 2 also kept sticking its tongue out...it was so cute. The lady doing the ultrasound said in all her years of doing them, she didn't think she had ever seen one so young stick its tongue out. I told Matt that maybe it's a girl, since it's sassy already...ha, ha! : ) We'll see...I don't really have a feeling yet!

Happy Easter!

We had such a wonderful Easter- we had a great service at Church and then all of our family went to Aunt Becky's and Uncle Gary's house for a wonderful lunch. Carter & Mere even had another Easter Egg Hunt...what fun!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the Easter Egg Hunt at Church. Since it rained this morning, the ground was too wet to have it outside. It didn't phase the kiddos...they still had a blast! Carter was a pro this year! : )

Daddy also gave Carter another haircut today! He looks so handsome!!! Carter wasn't happy about it...we ended up having to bribe him with a lollipop! : )

Harper's Nursery

I wasn't in a big rush to start on the nursery (as I know she'll be in our room for at least the first few months), but Matt has been so excited! He was ready to start working on it the day we found out we were having a girl! We've cleaned out most of the room...actually we've just relocated it to the hall/bonus room upstairs. : ) Here's some of the pics I've taken so far...

Here's her beautiful bedding! We went ahead and bought the toddler quilt, so we would know exactly what the colors were as we were decorating.

Here's a view of her closet and chandelier...Her furniture should be in within the next couple months...I can't wait!!!

Mimi bought Carter, Mere, and baby Harper the cutest bunnies. Carter wanted Harper's bunny to sleep with his last night...it was so sweet!!!!!!!

Boy or Girl????

We find out on Friday if Baby 2 will be a girl or a boy! We are so excited!!! I still have no idea what Baby 2 is! : ) Any guesses???

USA Baby was having a big sale yesterday, so we went and ordered Baby 2's new furniture! It took us forever to find the perfect furniture for Carter and we went right in on Saturday and within minutes found the perfect one for Baby 2! I'll try to scan in a picture. It won't be here for several months, so we still have a while to figure out what we're going to do with all the office furniture and all my scrapbook stuff, leftover mary kay stuff, tons of household paperwork, and JUNK! : )

Tom King Half Marathon

Matt ran his first half marathon today- in an hour and 50 minutes!!! He did so awesome and hasn't even had much time to train! We are so proud of you!!!

Favorite Shirt

This is Carter's favorite shirt...and it isn't even his. Everytime he goes into our closet he pulls it down and plays with it. Tonight he wanted to put it on...soooo cute!

Goodnaz 5K

Today our church (Goodlettsville Nazarene) had their first 5K race. There were so many people that came out to help and run/walk...it was awesome! The doctor said it was fine for me to continue walking, so I was thrilled to participate! Although, I would have rather been running, it was great to get some exercise! Shanda & I actually got a huge workout...we expected the course to be flat, but it was incredibly hilly! We took the jogging stroller and had to haul 2 toddlers up and down the course...we ended up jogging a decent amount of it, because it was just easier to make it up the hills that way and the stroller naturally flew down the hills, so we had to keep up! : ) I'm sure Baby 2 wasn't sure what was going on, especially on our last hill...it was a doozie! My ankle felt good until the very end...and I'm still paying for it! My muscles were so incredibly sore the next day and we came down with Carter's virus, so Sunday was a rough day for me! (Bummer, I didn't get any pictures of us with the kiddos in the stroller).

Preds Game

I won 4 tickets from our work to go to the Preds game tonight! Shanda & Matt were able to go with us and we had so much fun! Me & Baby 2 especially enjoyed the game food- pizza, french fries, and ice cream!
